Alisha earned her Bachelor's Degree of Music in Flute Performance in May of 2004 at the University of Redlands, in Redlands,
CA. She participated in the pit orchestra at the University of Redlands and has also performed in the Feast of Lights Orchestra
as well as being a soloist in the University of Redlands Wind Ensemble and Orchestra.
Alisha was one of the honored participants in the President's Honor Recital after competing in the Annual University of
Redlands Concerto Competition in 2001.
Along with studying with Professor Sara Andon, Alisha studied flute at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria during her study
abroad semester.
She is currently pursuing her California Teacher's Credential in the School of Education at the University of Redlands
as well as working towards her Master's degree in Music so that she can achieve her goal of becoming an elementary school
teacher.
Alisha maintains an active private flute studio in Southern California as well as in Riverside County at Rubidoux and
Martin Luther King High Schools. She is also involved in coaching flute at many schools in Riverside counties as well as Coachella
Valley.
